Security and data residency.
For regulated teams, processing runs through an EU-only path. If in doubt, plinio® TL stops rather than send data outside the EU.
EU processing path
For regulated customers, the entire processing path runs on EU-only infrastructure. If at any point the system cannot keep the path inside the EU, it stops rather than fall back to non-EU processing.
AI processing
Standard workspaces use AI models from established providers in the EU and the USA; transfers to the USA rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Regulated teams can request EU-only processing; if the system cannot keep a request inside the EU, it stops. The full list of subprocessors is part of the data processing agreement.
Your workspace
Each organisation has a private workspace. Roles are Admin and Member. New members are invited by an Admin via an invitation link.
Memory bank
The memory bank turns substantial edits into writing patterns (for example “open with a figure, not a question”). Patterns are stored per user, are visible to members of your own organisation and are never used for other customers. They are deleted with your account.
Human in the loop
Nothing goes out without your approval. Drafts move through Draft → Review → Approved → Published with a full version history. You can step in at any of these stages.
Self-hosting
Self-hosting is available on request for customers with strict data-residency or compliance requirements. Talk to us about your setup.
Contract
A data processing agreement (DPA / AV-Vertrag) is available on request. Ask us through the contact form or at info@getplinio.com.
Certification
plinio TL is not certified yet. A certification is planned for 2027.
